Responsibilities:

1. System Administration:

   • Monitor and maintain servers and infrastructure for performance, availability, and security.
   • Log and resolve incidents, document daily tasks, and support off-hours or weekend issues.

2. Azure Management:

   • Configure and monitor Azure VMs, storage, and networking.
   • Set up alerts for system health and ensure best practices in server management.

3. Database & Applications:

   • Manage SQL databases (performance, backups, encryption).
   • Monitor applications and resolve issues flagged by tools like PHP Server Monitor.

4. Backup & Security:

   • Oversee backups and disaster recovery tests.
   • Perform vulnerability scans, penetration tests, and ensure compliance with security standards.

5. Maintenance:

   • Conduct regular system updates, patches, and hardening activities.
   • Review configurations and documentation to meet compliance (e.g., ISO 27001).

6. Documentation & Reporting:

   • Maintain records of system configurations, incidents, and maintenance activities.
   • Support audits and compliance reporting.

7. Collaboration:

   • Work with internal teams and vendors for troubleshooting and system improvements.
   • Assist with onboarding new customers and managing SaaS environment changes.

8. Process Improvement:

   • Automate processes to enhance efficiency and security.
   • Support network, VPN, and firewall configurations.

Skills & Qualifications:

1. Technical Skills:

   • Expertise in Microsoft Azure and Windows Server administration.
   • Familiarity with SQL Server, Active Directory, VMware, VPNs, and scripting (PowerShell).

2. Security & Networking:

   • Knowledge of vulnerability assessment and security best practices.
   • Understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and network management.

3. Experience:

   • 2+ years in cloud infrastructure management or similar roles (junior roles available for fresh graduates).

4. Education & Certifications:

   • Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
   • Preferred: Microsoft Azure Administrator, CompTIA Security+, ISO 27001.
