- Lead end-to-end regional talent acquisition strategies across MY, SG and other ASEAN countries
- Source and attract high-calibre candidates through LinkedIn, professional networks, direct sourcing, and executive search agencies.
- Conduct competency-based interviews and provide recruitment recommendations and advisory support to hiring managers.
- Monitor and manage recruitment KPIs, including time-to-hire, quality-of-hire, and overall recruitment effectiveness.
- Drive employer branding initiatives to strengthen the company’s talent pipeline and market positioning.
- Partner with department heads on workforce planning, organisational development, and capability gap assessments.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, governance frameworks, performance management systems, KPIs, and appraisal processes.
- Lead succession planning and leadership development initiatives to strengthen the organisation’s management pipeline.
- Manage employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, domestic inquiries, and compliance with Malaysian and regional employment regulations.
- Advise management on strategic compensation, benefits, talent management, engagement, retention, and HR strategies aligned with business growth objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business or related field with minimum 8 years of HR experience
- Proven track record in recruiting technical, specialist and commercial or business development talent, ideally within Manufacturing, Commodities or Recycling industries.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian Labour Law; experience with Singapore or other ASEAN employment regulations is a strong plus.
- Hands-on leader with strong business acumen, high proactiveness and excellent stakeholder management skills.
