Key Responsibilities (Manufacturing Process Engineer)
Manufacturing Process Support
-
Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.

Provide technical support to production teams to resolve process-related issues.

Troubleshoot manufacturing problems through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
-
Monitor production performance and implement improvements to enhance yield and reduce defects.
New Product Introduction (NPI)
-
Support new product introduction activities from prototype development to mass production.
-
Develop and validate manufacturing processes for new products.
-
Collaborate with R&D and Engineering teams to ensure products are designed for manufacturability (DFM).

Support process qualification, validation, and production ramp-up activities.
Process Improvement & Quality Enhancement

Analyze manufacturing data to identify improvement opportunities.

Drive continuous improvement projects to improve process capability, yield, and throughput.
-
Implement process controls, SPC, and corrective action plans.
-
Conduct failure analysis and support problem-solving activities for production issues.
Documentation & Technical Support

Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation including SOPs, work instructions, and process specifications.

Support process changes, engineering improvements, and equipment upgrades.

Provide technical training and guidance to production technicians and operators.
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field with a minimum 6 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, process engineering, or related industry.

Strong experience in manufacturing process development and optimization.

Knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes, PCBA, and production systems.

Experience in troubleshooting, failure analysis, and root cause analysis.

Familiar with continuous improvement methodologies and process improvement tools.

Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), process capability, and quality improvement techniques.

Experience supporting NPI, process validation, and production transfer. | |
