Position Title : Lead Project Scheduler

Tenure: Permanent

Remuneration: RM8,000 – RM15,000

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project (MS Project)
  • Ensure schedule accuracy, transparency, and alignment across multiple project stakeholders and regions
  • Monitor project progress, milestones, dependencies, critical paths, and schedule risks
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams across different time zones to gather updates and maintain schedule integrity
  • Analyze schedule performance and proactively identify potential delays or conflicts
  • Provide schedule forecasting, scenario analysis, and recovery planning where necessary
  • Maintain schedule baselines and ensure updates are properly documented
  • Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to support overall project execution
  • Drive consistency and best practices in project scheduling and planning processes

 

Requirements :

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related discipline preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in project scheduling or project planning roles
  • Strong hands-on experience using Microsoft Project (MS Project) in complex project environments
  • Proven experience owning and managing detailed project schedules independently
  • Experience working with international and cross-functional stakeholders across multiple time zones
  • Experience in large industrial, automation, engineering, manufacturing, or MHE project environments would be an advantage

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project (mandatory)
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling methodologies, critical path analysis, and project controls
  • Ability to manage multiple project timelines and dependencies effectively

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
