    Position Overview

    The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of Human Resource functions, ensuring alignment between HR strategies and business objectives. This role will manage employee relations, recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and compliance matters while supporting the company’s growth and operational requirements.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage and oversee full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll coordination, training, performance management, and HR administration
    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in accordance with company objectives and labor regulations
    • Lead manpower planning and recruitment activities to ensure timely hiring of suitable candidates
    • Manage employee engagement initiatives and promote a positive working culture
    • Handle disciplinary matters, grievance handling, and employee relations issues professionally
    • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and statutory requirements
    • Support compensation and benefits administration, performance reviews, and annual appraisal exercises
    • Work closely with department managers on workforce planning and talent development strategies
    • Coordinate learning and development programs to enhance employee capabilities
    • Prepare HR reports, manpower analysis, and management updates
    • Support organizational development initiatives and continuous process improvements
    • Liaise with government agencies and external stakeholders when required

     

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
    • Minimum 5–8 years of HR experience, with managerial experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
    • Experience handling full spectrum HR functions
    • Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and labor regulations
    • Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
    • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
    • Chinese speaking ability is required to support communication with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and business needs
