Job Summary:
The Regional Sales Manager (West Malaysia) is responsible for leading sales operations across the region, driving revenue growth, and developing the dealer and distributor network. The role requires strong leadership to manage a sales team and execute strategic sales and marketing initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop a sales team of 6–10 members across West Malaysia
- Develop and expand dealer and distributor networks in the assigned region
- Drive sales performance to achieve company targets and business objectives
- Plan and execute marketing strategies, promotional campaigns, and trade activities
- Organize and participate in roadshows, exhibitions, and product promotions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and key business partners
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to support strategic planning
- Implement effective regional sales strategies and business plans
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales leadership or managerial role
- Proven experience managing a sales team of 6–10 members
- Strong background in dealer and distributor network management
- Experience in power tools, building materials, paint, or machinery industries is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of dealer-based sales models
- Experience in marketing activities, promotional campaigns, and event coordination
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Results-driven with strong business acumen
