Position Title: SMC Engineer

Tenure: Permanent

Remuneration: RM5,000 – RM6,500

Responsibilities

·       Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) for SMT, AOI, and Wave Solder processes

·       Perform SMT programming for Juki & Panasonic machines (CM602 & NPM)

·       Prepare and release loading lists prior to engineering builds

·       Optimize SMT programs to improve cycle time and efficiency

·       Conduct temperature profiling for reflow and wave solder ovens

·       Support fabrication and buyoff for stencil, fixtures, and wave pallets

·       Evaluate solder materials (solder paste, solder bar, flux) for engineering builds

·       Review Gerber files and propose design improvements based on process capability

·       Analyze and provide indirect material consumption for BOM updates

Requirement  

·       Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic or related)

·       Experience in SMT processes and NPI

·       Hands-on experience with Juki / Panasonic SMT machines

·       Knowledge of AOI systems (Vitrox / Mirtec) is an advantage

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·       Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
