Job Title: Finance & Accounts Manager
Reports To: Assistant General Manager Team: Accounts Leader, Senior Accounts Executive, Accounts Executive, Accounts Assistant
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting

Oversee the full set of company accounts.

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Ensure accurate, timely reporting in line with company policies and accounting standards.

Manage budgeting, cash flow forecasts, and financial projections.

Monitor actual performance against budget and explain variances.
Analysis & Business Support
-
Perform financial and variance analysis (sales, cost, gross profit, SG&A, inventory).

Translate financial results into clear business insights for management.

Identify financial risks, improvement opportunities, and cost control measures.
-
Support strategic and operational decision-making with meaningful analysis.
Compliance & Governance
-
Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, and statutory requirements.
-
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and authorities.

Assist in audits and regulatory reporting.
-
Act as custodian of company assets and support expense control.
Operations & Collaboration
-
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams.

Ensure financial data reflects actual operational performance.
-
Improve reporting formats, analysis methods, and internal processes.

Drive continuous improvement in finance operations.
Team Leadership

Supervise and guide the accounts team.

Review team outputs for accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.

Coach team members to strengthen analytical and reporting skills.
Others

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (ACCA / CAT / CIMA preferred).

IFRS knowledge preferred.

Minimum 3–5 years of managerial experience.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
-
Business-oriented mindset with high integrity and accountability.
-
Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Word; BI tools are an advantage.

Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Chinese is an added advantage. | |
