Client Background: A German Engineering company with business in marine, power and rotating equipments across SEA region.

Responsibilities:

·       Support in maintaining a full set of account. Ensure data is entered into system accurately

·       Establish, maintain and reconcile general ledger and inventory account

·       To handle daily accounting functions and monthly closing activities including preparation and processing of month end journals

·       Responsible to produce and submission of accurate analyst reports (Profit & Loss, Margin analysis, Billing/Collection, Exchange rates and Cash Flow Status)

·       To prepare month-end reconciliations and analysis of general ledger accounts, expenses and development expenditure

·       Assist in preparation of management accounts and financial reports

·       Maintaining intercompany and accrual files

·       Prepare for Income Statement and Balance Sheet for sunsidiary entity

·       Responsible for liaise with tax agents, auditor, bank officer and other authority body as necessary

·       Any other ad hoc assignments.

Requirements:

·       Degree in Accounting and Finance with min. 5 or more years related experience

·       Experience from monthly closings and full set accounts

·       Good knowledge of SAP system

·       Experience with local bookkeeping regulations

·       Experience with local tax rules

·       Basic experience regarding local income tax rules

·       Good level of IT skills, especially Microsoft (inc. Excel spreadsheets)

·       Good knowledge of Accounting, Budgeting
