Location: Balakong, Selangor
Responsibilities:
- Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery
- Ensure purchased items comply with Malaysian standards and regulations
- Handle product certification and approval applications (SIRIM, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, MCMC)
- Track renewals of certificates and licenses
- Maintain proper documentation for regulatory submissions
- Liaise with testing labs, consultants, and authorities when required
- Support internal and external compliance audits
- Create Purchase Orders and Material Master in ERP
- Coordinate shipments from PO issuance to warehouse/site delivery
Requirements:
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in purchasing or procurement
- Proficient in Mandarin (spoken & written) to liaise with China/Taiwan suppliers
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
