Position: IT System Administrator

Job Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware systems.

• Manage network servers, technology tools, and related infrastructure.

• Set up user accounts, workstations, and access permissions.

• Monitor system performance and ensure maintenance meets organizational requirements.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve outages efficiently.

• Maintain system security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.

• Implement system upgrades, new releases, and hardware models.

• Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies.

• Create and maintain an internal knowledge base with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or in a similar role.

• Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management.

• Strong knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery procedures.

• Ability to create scripts using Python, Perl, or other scripting languages.

• Familiarity with multiple operating systems and platforms.

• Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
