Sales Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales and business development for occupational health and safety products range: Aviation tools, rivets, drills, grinders , abrasives, tapes & adhesives , Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs).
  • Identify, prospect and develop new business opportunities to establish & cultivate strong business relationship with customers.
  • Manage and expand product range and usage in the assigned territory for sales growth.
  • Serve as technical advisor to customers, offering solutions tailored to their specific needs and requirements.
  • Conduct in-depth product demonstration, training and presentation to help customers discover and understand products/services and benefits.
  • Manage customer relationships throughout the sales process, ensuring customer satisfaction and post-sale support.
  • Evaluate client application requirements and provide solutions.
  • Responsible for new accounts & new product development as well as maintaining existing customers.
  • Conduct regular visits/meetings with customers and attend verbal & written inquiries.
  • Meet or exceed established sales targets and KPIs on a consistent basis.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and industry regulations to stay informed and adjust sales strategies.
  • Attend trade shows, industry events and customer meetings to expand the customer base and keep up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Prepare & submit quotes, proposals, tenders or any technical documentation including monthly business review reports & other management reports that are required.

Requirements:

  • Preferably with a Diploma or Degree in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
  • 3 years experience in sales /business development preferably in the Automotive /Aerospace industries or Electrical and Electronics Industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and sales skills.
  • Ability to explain technical product details and benefits to both technical and nontechnical customers.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Aggressive, highly independent, able to work under minimal supervision & self organized.
  • Any working experience in the areas of occupational health & safety would be an advantage.
