Position Title: Maintenance Technician

Tenure: Permanent

Remuneration: RM3,000 – RM4,000

Responsibilities

·       Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.

·       Complete make-ready process of vacant apartments as directed by the Facility Officer

·       Work within expense limits established.

·       Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations.

·       Schedule and complete the "Preventative Maintenance Program".

·       Coordinate special projects as directed by the Facility Officer.

·       Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors.

·       Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled.

·       Carry cell phone / walkie talkie as required for on-call maintenance.

·       Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned.

·       Responsible for alerting the Facility Officer of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur.

·       Maintain a professional courteous manner with all vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.

·       Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, City, State and Federal guidelines.

·       Ensure compliance of all work related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner.

·       Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined

Requirement

·       Possession of a diploma preferably in Electrical Engineering or general equivalency diploma (GED) and one year of assignment-related maintenance experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above.
