Client Industry: Auto Parts Manufacturer

Location: Kuala Terengganu

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, and coordinate the flow of production-related materials to ensure continuous support for manufacturing activities.
• Collaborate closely with the Warehouse and Production Planning teams to monitor material status and verify accurate consumption, minimizing the risk of production downtime.
• Maintain inventory levels at or below target thresholds, while actively managing and reducing obsolete stock.
• Establish and regularly update safety stock levels based on the production schedule and demand forecast.
• Monitor and control inbound logistics costs, including efforts to reduce premium freight expenses.
• Execute tasks and responsibilities in accordance with instructions and plans provided by the immediate superior.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in material management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with SAP or other ERP systems, specifically in the Material Management module.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.
