TECHNICAL ASSISTANT
JOB DESCRIPTIONS
Assist in diagnosing, troubleshooting, resolving hardware, software and network issues.
Support network setup and configuration (e.g., routers, switches, and firewalls).
Support IT teams in implementing new systems or technologies including installations.
Support the setup and deployment of Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and Virtual Private Networks (VPN).
Organize, mount and lay network cables, including Ethernet and fiber optics. Label, terminate, and connect cables to respective network ports and devices.
Educate users on IT best practices and company policies.
QUALIFICATION
Possess SPM with a strong interest in IT or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking.
Proven experience in a technical support or IT assistant role.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. | |
