Position: Senior Finance & Accounting – Assistant Manager (Mandaring Speaking)

Role Summary

The Senior Finance & Accounting – Assistant Manager position is a key role within the Finance & Accounting team. The successful candidate will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with reporting standards, and support management in achieving business objectives. This role requires a balance of technical accounting expertise, leadership skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations, including monthly account closing, preparation of Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets, cash flow management, accounts receivable/payable, and fixed assets.

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to headquarters and regulatory authorities, including statutory submissions, audits, and production reports.

• Liaise with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions to manage banking operations, fund transfers, and reconciliations.

• Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies by applying continuous improvement principles, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

• Support management in financial planning, decision-making, and other ad-hoc tasks as required, contributing to overall business objectives.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience.

• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin (spoken) is an advantage.

• Skilled in MS Office and accounting systems.

• Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently.

• Own transport is required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Monthly salary: RM 5,500 – RM 8,000 (based on experience)
