Position Title : Senior Operation Executive
Tenure: Permanent
Remuneration: RM4,000 – RM6,000
Responsibilities
· Lead and manage the Johor operations team, including warehouse, inspection, and support personnel.
· Oversee and optimize daily operational activities, including commodity inspection, sampling, laboratory analysis, warehousing, and inventory control.
· Plan, allocate, and supervise manpower resources in line with operational schedules and shipment requirements.
· Liaise and negotiate with external service providers (e.g., transporters, forwarders, warehouse vendors) to ensure efficient execution of shipments and services.
· Maintain close coordination with the Singapore head office on import/export operations, compliance, and reporting.
· Ensure adherence to internal SOPs, quality management systems, health, safety, and regulatory compliance.
· Prepare, update, and analyze operational reports, such as inventory records, inspection certifications, and incident documentation.
· Support commercial activities by managing customer inquiries, facilitating quotations and tenders, assisting with contract negotiations, and monitoring service levels.
· Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance cost control, operational efficiency, and service quality.
· Actively participate in business development initiatives: identify and engage potential customers, market new services, and contribute to pricing and quotation strategies.
· Represent the company at meetings with authorities, partners, and customers as required.
Requirement
· Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics, warehousing, or quality inspection, preferably within the commodity, agriculture, or food industries.
· Demonstrated track record in leading and developing operational teams.
· Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to resolve issues and build strong stakeholder relationships.
· Good understanding of customs processes, HS codes, import/export regulations, and relevant government frameworks in Malaysia.
· Must be a team player with a collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively across functions and locations.
· Self-driven and highly organized, able to work independently and under pressure in a dynamic environment.
· Commercial awareness and the ability to recognize and act on business opportunities.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), familiarity with WMS or ERP systems is a plus. |
