Key Responsibilities
Lead the setup and launch of salon outlets, including layout planning, treatment room setup, and product sourcing.
Develop and implement SOPs for treatments, consultations, hygiene standards, inventory, and customer service.
Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and relevant regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance before launch.
Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional customer service.
Monitor hygiene, cleanliness, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Manage scheduling, staff shifts, salon POS, petty cash, and administrative reporting.
Collaborate in recruiting a high-performing team: scalp consultants, therapists, and front-desk staff.
Conduct onboarding and continuous training on brand values, product knowledge, and treatment protocols.
Lead team performance reviews, meetings, and development initiatives.
Set and maintain high standards for consultations and personalised scalp treatment plans.
Manage client feedback, handle complaints professionally, and implement loyalty programmes.
Foster a strong, trustworthy reputation within the scalp and hair care industry.
Manage supplier and vendor relationships for products, tools, and support services.
Oversee inventory tracking, stock orders, and efficient stock control to meet salon demand.
Work with the founder and marketing team to launch promotions and customer engagement campaigns.
Set and monitor sales/treatment targets; analyse performance and optimise operations.
Contribute ideas for business expansion, new services, and customer experience improvements.
Requirements
3—5 years of relevant experience in salon, beauty, spa, wellness, retail, or startup operations.
Hands-on experience in launching or managing multi-outlet operations is a strong advantage.
Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Familiar with Malaysian labour laws, salon licensing, and health & safety regulations.
Proficient with digital tools and salon POS systems.
Excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. |
