Position Title : Senior System Engineer
Tenure: Permanent
Remuneration: Basic + allowances + OT
Job Description:
· Design, implement, troubleshoot, analyze, support, and maintain a range of systems, including Windows servers, virtualization platforms, OS performance tuning, Active Directory, and backup/restore solutions.
· Collaborate closely with clients and vendors to resolve issues, monitor project schedules, and assess technical support needs.
· Provide technical support to the sales team and ensure customer infrastructure issues are resolved professionally and on time.
· Troubleshoot and resolve system infrastructure issues within the agreed SLA.
· Manage project planning, track timelines, and provide timely status updates to stakeholders.
· Prepare and compile comprehensive project documentation.
· Implement and configure solutions such as VMware, Hyper-V, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft 365, and backup tools.
· Work effectively under pressure and be available for after-hours or midnight standby when required.
Job Requirements:
· Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
· Strong troubleshooting skills in Microsoft Windows Server OS, VMware/Hyper-V, backup solutions, and server/storage systems.
· Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with WINS, DNS, DHCP, NFS, LDAP, and security management.
· Proven experience in designing, supporting, and maintaining Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments.
· Familiarity with backup solutions such as Veeam and StorageCraft Disaster Recovery.
· Knowledge of SAN, iSCSI, and NAS solutions.
· Experience with Microsoft Azure or Dell enterprise solutions is an added advantage.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
· High level of dedication to service excellence and customer satisfaction.
· Positive attitude, proactive approach, and strong team collaboration skills.
· Willingness to work after office hours and on standby duty as needed. |
