• Oversee the full spectrum of financial and accounting functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and alignment with business objectives.

• Lead and develop the finance team, cultivating a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Deliver timely and accurate financial and management reports (P&L, balance sheet, etc.) in compliance with applicable standards and group reporting requirements.

• Support strategic decision-making by analyzing financial data, validating inputs, and providing actionable insights.

• Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, ensuring the company maintains a healthy financial position.

• Evaluate and mitigate financial risks through strong internal controls, compliance practices, and operational efficiencies.

• Liaise with tax agents, auditors, company secretaries, banks, and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and business continuity.

• Spearhead fundraising and capital financing strategies to support growth and long-term expansion.

• Implement digital tools and financial systems that enhance automation, scalability, and real-time reporting.

• Foster financial discipline, frugality, and integrity throughout the organization.

• Travel domestically or internationally when required.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Qualification (ACCA, ICAEW, CPA) in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing finance operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.

• Experience working in a fast-paced, growing business environment — preferably including start-up experience.

• A hands-on, solutions-driven leader who thrives in ambiguity and builds scalable processes.

• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and priority management skills.

• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities with a team-first mindset.

• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.

• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.

• Willing to go the extra mile to meet goals, including during weekends or public holidays, if required.
