Position Title: Waste Water Treatment Plant Engineer

Tenure: Permanent

Remuneration: RM3,000-RM4,500

Job Description

·       Able to conduct jar test based on the waste sample collected

·       Daily collecting data for each of WWTP and Scrubber operation and record in the prepared checklist

·       Monitor and conduct daily analysis for Biological treatment plant

·       Monitor and operate WWTP and Scrubber system in compliance with design parameters

·       Check and ensure actual chemical dosing rate in each WWTP as set by Engineer

·       Conduct periodic calibration on each of pH analyser available on WWTP, RODI and Scrubber

·       Ensure all WWTP and Scrubber chemicals in plant always enough for treatment

·       Troubleshoot plant in timely manner to prevent prolong downtime

·       Prepare final discharge water sample for laboratory test at designated sampling point.

·       To report any activities, abnormality and action plan related to WWTP and Scrubber

·       Conduct period maintenance for WWTP and Scrubber system

·       To control and ensure all spare part equipment stock and record

Requirements :

·       Candidate must possess at least a certificate , diploma in Engineering or equivalent

·       Minimum of 2 - 3 years of working experience in WWTP

·       Knowledge on WWTP for physical-chemical and biological treatment

·       Understanding basic local legislative requirement and compliance

·       Familiar with WWT analysis and equipment

·       Having CePIETSO-BP will be an advantage

·       Familiar with equipment maintenance and troubleshoot

·       Able to work in team, good initiatives, high commitment and independently with minimum supervising
