Responsibilities
§ Assure the quality of products and raw materials used are acceptable.
§ To calibrate all laboratory systems as per the national standards
§ To be the expert on all caramel and burnt sugar cooking and test methods
§ Ensure all laboratory & cooking records are up to date and accurate
§ To input formulae into IA batching system
§ Update E1 Manufacturing and Quality Module
§ Supervise & Coach operatives when carrying measurements in the laboratory
§ Conduct tests of all new operatives to ensure that they are qualified to undertake the all the caramel test methods
§ To be knowledgeable on GMP. Preferably trained and able to perform internal audit.
§ To be knowledgeable on BRCGS Food Safety Standard and HACCP Principles. Preferably trained in GFSI Food Safety System and able to perform internal audits.
§ Write procedures for the laboratory
§ Support QAM to conduct customer audits, customer complaint analysis, and documentation work
Requirement
§ University degree in Food Science, Technology, Chemistry, Applied Science, or Biology
§ Minimal 8 years’ working experience, with min. 3 years’ experience in QA of manufacturing site in food industry
§ Knowledge and experience in Food Safety System, HACCP, internal and external audit, traceability
