About the role
As a SharePoint Administrator you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the company's SharePoint environment. This full-time position is based in Kuala Lumpur and is responsible for ensuring the smooth running and optimal performance of the SharePoint platform, which is a vital tool for the organisation's day-to-day operations and collaboration.
What you'll be doing
· Administering and configuring SharePoint servers, sites, and site collections to meet the needs of the business
· Troubleshooting and resolving any issues or problems with the SharePoint environment
· Performing regular backups and ensuring the integrity and security of the SharePoint data
· Implementing and enforcing SharePoint governance policies and best practices
· Providing training and support to end-users on SharePoint functionality and features
· Collaborating with the IT team to integrate SharePoint with other enterprise applications and systems
· Monitoring and optimising the performance and scalability of the SharePoint platform
· Staying up-to-date with the latest SharePoint technologies and trends, and implementing relevant updates and improvements
What we're looking for
· 3-5 years of experience as a SharePoint Administrator or in a similar role
· Strong technical understanding of SharePoint architecture, administration, and configuration
· Proficiency in managing SharePoint sites, content types, workflows, and custom development
· Hands-on experience with SharePoint server administration, including backup, restoration, and maintenance
· Knowledge of SharePoint security and user permissions management
· Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and ability to automate SharePoint administrative tasks
· Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
· Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the IT team and end-users
