Job Description

Summary

  • Reporting Structure – Who will the candidate report to? Director, the hiring manager
  • Team Size – How many members are there in the current team? Around 10 including the 3 new HC of Korean speaker.  
  • Interview Process – Kindly confirm the stages and who will be involved. First round interview by the hiring manager, if shortlisted for 2nd round interview, manager based in Korea will be involved.
  • Visa Sponsorship – Will visa support be provided for expatriates? yes
  • Additional Preferences – Are there any specific, non-listed preferences we should consider (e.g., age range, gender, race) to better align with your expectations? So far no, as long as Korea speaker with well-known on Korea culture, ideally candidate who lived in Korea before. Pls source us Malaysian as priority if possible.

    This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure high customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

    Job Description
    In your new role you will:
  • Sample Request Management: Process sample requests from customers, verify sample stock availability, confirm sample pricing in collaboration with the Product Line (PL) or Sales Manager, and manage sample tracking and reporting to ensure timely updates to customers.
  • Quote Management: Handle customer and sales team requests for quotes (RFQs), ensuring accurate and prompt responses that align with organizational goals and maintain service excellence.
  • Payment Monitoring and Credit/Debit Notes Coordination: Monitor customer account payments, address discrepancies, and resolve them by initiating Credit or Debit Notes. Manage quote handling and ensure seamless coordination for accurate financial reporting.
  • Product Change Notifications (PCN) Coordination: Distribute PCN notices to customers, maintain and update customer contact information, and log customer feedback in the PCN Tool. Handle the coordination of PCN/PTN/IN processes and request supporting documents or information(e.g., QTRs, CIPs) as needed.
  • Product Information Requests: Respond to customer inquiries regarding product information, including standardization details, providing accurate and timely responses.
  • Case Management: Respond to, update, and follow up on Microsoft Dynamics cases, ensuring all cases are resolved and closed effectively.
  • Export Control Compliance: Perform biannual export control checks for "Ship To" locations and verify export control status for new customer applications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.



Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred, with 3-5 years of experience in relevant fields.
  • Proficiency in the Korean language is mandatory, including the ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken Korean
  • Well understand on Korea local culture. 
  • Demonstrates exceptional customer and sales support skills, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.
  • Proactively contributes to management by providing insights for process improvements and defining plans for operational efficiency.
  • Primarily operates as an individual contributor, capable of making independent decisions and taking ownership of responsibilities.
  • Acts as a dependable and accountable resource, with comprehensive knowledge of industry best practices, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Effectively resolves complex and dynamic problems by developing innovative and creative solutions.
  • Requires minimal supervision from the direct manager for routine tasks and works independently on new projects or assignments with general guidance.
