Position Title: Senior IT Engineer

Tenure: Permanent

Remuneration: RM 4500-RM7,000

Job Description:

·       Maintain and support internal network and communication equipment (e.g., VPN, wireless AP, firewalls).

·       Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software (PCs, laptops, printers, projectors, etc.).

·       Manage video/telephone conferencing systems and web-based communication tools.

·       Administer network services including VPN, DHCP, IP routing, and internet access permissions.

·       Set up and maintain employee email accounts and access rights.

·       Support and troubleshoot weak current systems (e.g., telephone, access control, surveillance).

·       Perform system updates, virus prevention, and basic cybersecurity tasks.

·       Conduct regular IT room inspections and support IT asset lifecycle management.

·       Coordinate with internal departments and vendors for IT-related projects and maintenance.

·       Support management in resolving IT-related business and legal matters as needed.

Job Requirement:

·       Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

·       Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in IT support, network administration, or a similar role.

·       Well-versed in national and local IT regulations, policies, and compliance requirements.

·       Strong skills in internal and external coordination, with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

·       Professional demeanour with good cultural awareness and a presentable appearance.

·       Proficiency in Mandarin is required, with clear articulation and strong written and verbal communication skills.
