Job Description
- Developing sustainability and environmental procedures and guidelines.
- Manage documents related to sustainability; compliances; and management system.
- Inspecting facilities that may pose a risk to environment or any non-compliance.
- Preparing reports, maps, charts and other documentation detailing findings from inspections, non-conformance issues or projects.
- Educating the employees on sustainability, environmental issues and compliance with regulations.
- Investigating complaints about potential environmental violations and conducting follow-up audits to ensure compliance with established guidelines.
- Maintaining and analysing records of environmental data and samples collected during environmental performance monitoring or investigations.
- Conducting site inspections to identify environmental hazards and make recommendations for corrective action.
- Monitoring the overall performance and activity of sustainability, environmental monitoring program, waste management program; sustainability; Environmental Management System and other related Management System; Proactively involvement in company’s activities which required sustainability and environment input as and when required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent field.
- Minimum of 4 years of practical experience in the environmental field.
- Good knowledge of ISO 14064 is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of technical, engineering, and process analysis.
- Familiar with environmental legal requirements and ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System.
- Mature individual; preferably aged 35 years and above.
- Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and SAP system.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and work independently with minimal supervision.
