Position Title : Welding Engineer
Tenure: Permanent
Remuneration: RM4,000 – RM7,000
Responsibilities
- Design, fabricate and assemble welding components and products
- Analyse blueprints and other technical issues related to welding quality
- Select the appropriate welding techniques and methods for the job
- Conduct tests and inspections on welded components
- Planning and managing welding process.
- Developing welding processes and procedures
- Monitoring welding quality and preparing welding reports
- Selecting, assembling, and setting up welding equipment
- Using heat analysis and metallurgical knowledge to determine the correct welding process for each application
- Troubleshooting welding problems and determining corrective actions
- Performing welding tests and inspections
- Conducting welding research
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians on project design and develop efficient method
- Maintain and verify the status of the repaired welding equipment and the efficiency
- Ensure all the welding quality is maintained and meet the standard of ISO3834 and EN 1090.
Requirements
· Knowledge of engineering principles and practices
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
· Knowledge of safety procedures
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Excellent problem-solving skills
· Good interpersonal and communication skill.
· Ability to work as a team.
· Experience in ISO 3834 and EN 1090 will be an advantage.
