Job Title: Senior Manager, Advertising & Promotions (A&P) Location: [Insert location – e.g., Sepang, Selangor] Reporting To: General Manager / Head of Marketing
Job Purpose:
To lead, plan, and execute the Advertising & Promotions (A&P) strategy for MFMA Development’s retail asset(s), aimed at driving footfall, increasing tenant sales, enhancing brand visibility, and strengthening customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Campaign Development

Develop and implement annual A&P plans in line with overall marketing and business objectives.

Lead brainstorming and creative ideation for thematic campaigns, seasonal promotions, and events to drive mall traffic and tenant performance.

Oversee media planning, budgeting, and campaign ROI analysis.
Brand & Communications Management

Ensure consistency of brand messaging across all channels – ATL, BTL, and digital platforms.

Supervise copywriting, content development, and promotional materials.

Work closely with corporate partners, agencies, and media for joint promotions and publicity.
Event Management

Plan, execute, and oversee in-mall events, activations, and exhibitions to attract diverse shopper segments.

Manage event logistics, production timelines, and vendor coordination.

Monitor crowd engagement and event effectiveness, and recommend improvements.
Digital Marketing & Social Media

Oversee digital campaigns including SEO, SEM, display advertising, and social media marketing.

Monitor online performance metrics, engagement rates, and follower growth.

Collaborate with content and creative teams to maintain dynamic and on-brand online presence.
Tenant & Stakeholder Engagement

Coordinate with tenants for joint promotions, marketing support, and sales-boosting initiatives.

Provide guidance on visual merchandising and store-level promotions.

Prepare monthly marketing updates and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Budget & Performance Management

Manage A&P budget effectively, ensuring cost control and maximized ROI.

Track, report, and analyze performance of marketing activities and recommend optimization strategies.

Ensure all promotional activities comply with local regulations and company standards.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in retail mall marketing, brand management, or A&P functions.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Creative, strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.

Familiar with digital marketing trends and media landscape in Malaysia.

Able to work in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment with weekend/public holiday availability when required. |
