Job Description

·         Determine material requirements based on production schedules and customer demand

·         Forecast material needs and optimize inventory levels to minimize costs and prevent shortages

·         Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to track and manage materials

·         Communicate material requirements and timelines to production teams

·         Monitor production progress and identify potential bottlenecks

·         Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and ensure smooth production flow

·         Prepare reports and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.

·         Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

·         Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in MRP systems, and knowledge of inventory management techniques

Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

5 years’ experience in Material Planning or production planning.

Experience:

Proven experience in material planning, inventory management, or supply chain management.

Preferable proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus
