| Roles and Responsibilities: |
|

| Develop and maintain database build and post-build processes for Oracle, MySQL, and MariaDB. |
|
|
| Work on database performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization. |
|
|
|
| Automate post-build deployment processes and database configurations using Unix shell scripting. |
|
| Ensure database consistency, replication, and backup strategies are in place. |
|
|
|
| Implement and maintain best practices for database security, compliance, and performance monitoring. |
|
| Troubleshoot and resolve database-related performance issues and application bottlenecks. |
|
|
| Collaborate with application development and infrastructure teams to support seamless integration. |
|
| Handle schema migrations, version control, and data patching for production and non-production environments. |
| Monitor and fine-tune SQL queries to improve efficiency and reduce resource consumption. |
|
|
| Assist in the migration and upgrade of databases, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity. |
|
|
| Provide L3-level database support and troubleshooting for complex issues. |
|
|
|
|
| Document database configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and standard operating processes. |
|
| Stay updated with industry best practices for database administration, optimization, and automation. |
|
| Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate database operations into CI/CD pipelines. |
|
|
| Ensure adherence to ITIL-based incident, change, and problem management processes. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

|
|
|
| Key Qualifications & Experience: |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| 8+ years of experience in database development, post-build automation, and performance tuning. |
|
| Strong expertise in Oracle, MySQL, and MariaDB (Sybase experience is a plus). |
|
|
|
| Proficiency in Unix shell scripting and SQL query optimization. |
|
|
|
|
| Hands-on experience in database backup, recovery, replication, and security best practices. |
|
|
| Ability to troubleshoot database performance issues and optimize query execution. |
|
|
|
| Experience in handling L3-level production database support and incident resolution. |
|
|
|
| Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and database automation tools. |
|
|
|
|
| Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. |
|
|
|
|
| Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across multiple teams. |
