R&D Manager

Job Description:

  • Lead in product development, review formulation, materials and processes, product improvement / cost optimization, conducting shelf life studies whenever necessary.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of all relevant R&D documentation i.e. formulations, manufacturing procedures and specifications.
  • Stay abreast with regulatory, industry and market food trends.
  • Participate in appointed GMP, HACCP, ISO, Halal, OSH or other committees/ audits assigned
  • Conduct sensory evaluation

Requirements:

  • Degree in Food Science/ Food Technology or related fields
  • At least 4 years of working experience in food manufacturing preferably in sauce manufacturing and 2 years in supervisory/management role
  • Good understanding of Malaysian Food Regulations and Halal requirements
  • Good command of English both oral and written.
  • Passionate about food and highly creative
