Assistant Finance Manager
Job Description:
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing and reviewing the company’s budget and forecasts, providing insights into potential financial risks and opportunities.
- General Ledger & Reconciliation: Support in managing general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and journal entries to ensure financial data accuracy.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flows and assist in managing working capital, ensuring liquidity for the business operations.
- Internal Controls: Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Internal Audits: Conduct internal audits across various departments and functions to assess compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate financial, operational, and compliance risks, and make recommendations to mitigate those risks.
- Audit Documentation: Prepare detailed audit reports, including audit findings and recommendations for process improvements.
- Audit Support: Assist in coordinating external audits, providing necessary documentation, and liaising with external auditors during the audit process.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the internal control environment and suggest enhancements to the overall auditing processes.
Job Requirement:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CIA is highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in finance, accounting, and audit, ideally in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar)
- Knowledge of auditing techniques and risk management processes.
