Position Title : Senior Buyer

Tenure: Permanent

Remuneration: RM5,000 – RM6,500

Responsibilities

·       Responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services for the company.

·       Work closely with vendors to negotiate pricing and ensure timely delivery of goods. Ensure continuous apply of required goods and materials and to communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations.

·       Evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationship with vendors.

·       Evaluates procurement data and monitors key purchasing metrics.

·       Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and minimize waste.

·       Coordinate with internal CFT team & work together with buyer in the ECO roll in plan to minimize the potential exposure.

·       Provide guidance and support to junior members of the purchasing team.

·       Handle NPI projects & able to work with internal CFT team on all material related issues.

·       Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP system

·       Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Requirement

·       Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, a, or Professional Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field

·       At least 3-5 year(s) of working experience in purchasing/supply chain

·       A candidate with a purchasing/sourcing background in the EMS environment will have an added advantage.
