Position title: Production Manager

Responsibilities:

• Develop department budget plans and review strategies/action plans to align with company business strategies and customer needs.

• Ensure daily output fulfilment and continuously improve on-time delivery performance. Identify areas for continuous improvement in the fulfilment of work orders.

• Drive direct labour cost reduction and continuous improvement activities in manufacturing to achieve desired product quality, yield, manufacturing efficiency, and cost-effectiveness through lean concepts and automation innovations.

• Monitor manpower awareness and provide sufficient training to operators about quality processes, safety, and company regulations. Ensure proper execution of these processes.

• Collaborate with process engineering and quality teams to identify root causes of quality issues. Continuously improve manufacturing processes and quality systems.

• Maintain company facilities in good and safe condition. Improve facilities/workshop layout following lean/6S principles.

• Build a high-quality production team that is willing to take on challenges. Inspire and motivate a culture of ownership and quality awareness among operators.

• Manage WIP materials to ensure proper storage, handling, and data accuracy. Reduce material attrition rates.

• Ensure all activities adhere to EHS procedures in the production line. Collect and manage waste and dangerous goods. Monitor healthy environment and labour protection issues on the production line.

• Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance production efficiency and product quality.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering)

• Minimum of 10 years of working experience, with at least 5 years in production management

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Proficiency in English, both oral and written.

• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes.

• Demonstrated ability to manage a team and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and 6S principles.

• Experience with automation innovations and their implementation in manufacturing.
