Key Responsibilities:
As the Process Manager, you will oversee and manage the Process Engineering and Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning functions, ensuring the successful execution of proposals and awarded projects. Key responsibilities include:

Department Resource Planning and Development
- Strategize manpower planning and assignment based on project needs and personnel capabilities.
- Develop and implement staff development and training plans to enhance technical expertise and communication skills.
- Continuously improve departmental procedures to reflect best practices and maintain engineering quality.

Proposal and Job Execution
- Optimize proposal engineering resources, ensuring man-hours and costs are effectively utilized and technical qualifications meet client expectations.
- Monitor and control job execution, ensuring high-quality deliverables, adherence to schedules, and efficient resource usage.

Technical Oversight
- Review and provide guidance on key process engineering deliverables, including:
- Process Design Basis, Calculations, and Flow Diagrams.
- Equipment and Instrument Data Sheets.
- Safety Studies and Process Interlock Descriptions.

Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning (Added Advantage)
- Provide guidance on pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, assisting with planning and on-site execution.
- Develop key deliverables such as:
- Systemization (Process System)
- Smooth Start-up Program schedules and execution plans.
- Procedures for Mechanical Clean, Air Blowing, Leak Testing, and other pre-commissioning activities.
- Commissioning start-up sequences and initial start-up procedures.
- Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless execution.
- Support BOMBA submissions, approvals, and on-site functional testing.

General Administration
- Manage department recruitment, performance evaluations, training plans, and administrative tasks.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems and organizational policies.
Requirements:
We are looking for a results-driven professional with the following qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 15 years in process engineering design and commissioning in the oil & gas and petrochemical sectors.
- Proven expertise in Basic Engineering, FEED, EPCC, and EPCm project workflows.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with local and international design codes.
- Experience in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities is a significant advantage.
- Simulation experience is an added advantage.
- Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead and manage teams, ensuring project success and staff development.
- Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and report-writing abilities.
- Certifications: Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
- Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
