● Minimum engineering qualification of Diploma in Electrical Engineering /
Chargeman A0 /A1 Competency is a MUST.
● Min. 5 - 7 years’ working experience in similar duties preferred.
Technical Skills: Facilities Technician

Facilities Maintenance & Operations
- Supervision of building and grounds operations, including electrical, mechanical, and utility supply functions.
- Conducting preventive maintenance for facilities and equipment following established guidelines.

Knowledge in Maintenance Management
- Expertise in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering disciplines.
- Understanding of electrical specifications, wiring, circuit diagrams, and building plans.

Utilities and Building Systems
- Proficiency in managing utilities across various school facilities (classrooms, parking lots, event halls, gyms, playgrounds, restrooms, etc.).
- Familiarity with electrical equipment such as ACB, MCCB, MCB, RCCB, ELCB, and other switchgear.

Troubleshooting & Repairs
- Experience in repairing electrical and mechanical systems, including carpentry, plumbing, and painting.
- Ability to perform periodic maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.

Regulatory Compliance & Safety
- Ensuring power factor compliance with ACT447 standards.
- Adherence to safety and health regulations within the facility.

Technical Aptitude
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with knowledge of current-carrying capacities, protective devices, and circuits.
- Ability to read and interpret specifications, wiring diagrams, and symbols.

Technology Literacy & Communication
- Proficient in email and electronic communication to document breakdown reports and maintenance updates.
- Experience in monitoring, updating, and following up on work requests using digital tools.

Operational Excellence
- Skilled in establishing and maintaining high standards in quality, safety, and operational performance.
- Ensuring tools and maintenance equipment are properly stored and accounted for.

- Availability for weekend activities and general work duties.
- Flexibility to take on tasks as directed by the Utilities & Facilities Manager/Chief Engineer.
