Position Title : HR Generalist

Tenure: Permanent

Remuneration: RM6,000 – RM8,000

 

Responsibilities

·       Provides an efficient and effective administrative support service across all HR and payroll processes.

·       Provides first level support to the HR department, employees and managers including day to day advice for leaders.

·       Prepares and creates new employee and contract variation related documentation.

·       Supports managers with the recruiting and hiring of new employees in region, such as posting job adverts, supporting on interviews and managing the offer process.

·       Administers employee benefit schemes across the APAC region.

·       Processes all statutory payments e.g. maternity, paternity and sick pay and ensure appropriate documentation is received and records maintained.

·       Ensures employee onboarding and offboarding processes are completed.

·       Updates and maintains HR system accuracy.

·       Responds to stakeholders’ enquiries on a timely basis.

·       Practices continuous improvement in relation to HR initiatives and how we can advance our ways of working across the business.

·       Assists with Payroll:

o   Answers employee payroll questions and reconcile with the finance team and checking payroll for accuracy where necessary.

o   Updates annual social security, housing fund information and other government requirements.

 

 

Requirements :

·       Well-versed in local employment laws and regulations and ensures policies/best practices are adhered to.

·       Proven experience of working in a fast-paced environment; able to multitask.

·       Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar level role.

·       Excellent relationship building skills both with leaders and employees.

·       Ability to influence others to reach agreement and action.

·       Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft packages.

·       Good facilitation skills; fostering collaboration and cooperation.

·       Confidence to deliver high impact presentations to senior internal stakeholders
