Driving Responsibilities:
- Transporting Visitors:
- Safely driving staff, students, and visitors to various locations (e.g., school events, field trips, or meetings).
- Ensuring timely pick-ups and drop-offs.
- School Errands:
- Delivering and collecting documents, packages, or equipment between departments or to external vendors, embassies, or government offices.
- Vehicle Maintenance:
- Ensuring the school vehicles are regularly maintained, cleaned, and in good working condition (e.g., scheduling servicing, checking oil, brakes, and tires).
- Keeping accurate records of vehicle mileage and fuel usage.
- Compliance with Safety Standards:
- Adhering to all road safety regulations and school policies.
- Ensuring that all passengers wear seatbelts and that vehicles are driven safely and responsibly.
Dispatch Responsibilities:
- Document Delivery and Collection:
- Delivering and collecting important school documents such as letters, invoices, or packages from external parties.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintaining logs of deliveries and pick-ups, including the time, location, and recipient.
- Liaison Duties:
- Acting as a liaison between the school and external service providers such as courier services, postal offices, or suppliers.
- General Administrative Tasks:
- Assisting with simple office tasks like photocopying, filing, and mail distribution when not driving.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Ad-hoc Duties:
- Assisting with setting up school events, moving furniture or equipment, or supporting logistics for school functions.
- Communication:
- Staying in touch with the school office or transportation coordinator for updates on schedules or new tasks.
