Responsibilities:

·       Support month-end and year-end close process

·       Verify transactions and reconcile inventory, intercompany accounts receivable and payable

·       Spot errors in transaction posting and design rules and policies to govern

transaction posting and prevent errors

·       Assist in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

·       Develop and document workflow, business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

·       Be prepared to work with intra- and inter-departmental teams to develop and design workflow, business processes and accounting policies

·       Plan, assign and review junior staff’s work

·       Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedure

·       Liaise with our Financial Manager and CFO to improve financial procedures

Requirements:

·       Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or relevant

·       Relevant certification (e.g. CPA) will be preferred

·       Previous role as a Assistant Accounting Manager, or equivalent, with minimum 5 years of experiences

·       Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and financial statements preparation

·       In-depth understanding and application of GAAP principles

·       Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process

·       Hands-on experience with accounting software packages

·       Hands-on experience with ERP and its various modules and functionalities

·       Advanced MS Excel skills and functions

·       Accuracy and attention to detail

·       Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills

·       Awareness of business trends
