Client Background:

A global company — helping on fundraising events, supporting non-profits & agencies. Also operating printing & paper products with offices in USA, Europe, Hong Kong and factories in China. Currently expanding KL team and welcoming new talents to join the team.

Location: Glo Damansara (near TTDI station)

Tenure: Permanent role   (Mon-Fri)

Work Mode: Hybrid  (scheduled 2 or 3 days home/office)

Position: Costing Manager

Salary : Attractive salary package + Staff Benefits (Subject to experiences)  

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to CFO based at Hong Kong, working closely with US team
  • New pioneer team and to expand own team at KL
  • Follow Hong Kong Public Holidays
  • Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare any related reports
  • Maintain and Computation of costing
  • Proactive analysis of variances the costing movement
  • Compile and analyze product related costing and reporting
  • Forecast P&L with projections of sales and production data, and handle any other ad-hoc assignments according to business needs.
  • Compile sales, operation, and cost data for the annual budget process, evaluate and interpret
  • data submitted in generating a profitable budget, and ensure timely submission to the Board of Directors for review.
  • Create awareness among budget and KPI owners to meet or exceed standards through a detailed understanding of the key factors

Requirements:

  • 5-10 working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Computer Literate — Strong Excel skills, ERP systems, etc
  • Strong level of analytical skills, numeracy and costing understanding.
  • Willingness to learn and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proven communications skills/ presentation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge or experience in Standard Costing will be an added advantage.
  • Good Interpersonal competencies, attention to details and hands on person.
  • Able to work independently and in the team with minimum supervision
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred.
