Position Title : Assistant Sourcing Manager

Tenure: Permanent

Remuneration: RM6,500 – RM7,500



·       Work with BD Team on the RFQ Package and initiate the sourcing activities.

·       Analyzing quote by all the suppliers and provide the proposed Cost BOM for Senior Sourcing Strategy Manager approval.

·       Manage the Quote Maintenance upon the approval from the new business awarded customer.

·       Audit the system purchase cost – to ensure all Purchase Order are execute based on the approved allocated manufacturer and pricing.

·       Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet the company's procurement objectives.

·       Identify potential suppliers and conduct thorough evaluations to assess their capabilities, reliability, and quality standards.

·       Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favourable pricing, payment terms, and service level agreements.

·       Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, new suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities.

·       Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering partnerships based on trust, reliability, and mutual benefits.

·       Lead supplier audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with ethical standards, legal regulations, and industry best practices.

·       Regularly review and analyse sourcing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.




·       Degree in business administration or a related field

·       Minimum five years of experience and required industry experience, including two years in a supervisory role.

·       Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

·       Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

·       Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills.

·       Strong planning and organizational skills.

·       Possesses the ability to lead and motivate teams.

·       Demonstrates accountability, professional integrity, and attention to detail while managing tight deadlines and multitasking.

·       Independent, self-motivated, and proactive with a strategic mindset.
